Saving Face

Christian Living

“In Aimee’s beautiful and personal new book Saving Face, we’re invited into the wrestling ring—Aimee wrestling with God and with a Savior she knows so personally and intimately, wrestling with her image in the mirror and the good self she projects out into the world, wrestling with many different ways of doing church and with challenging and often overlooked texts of Scripture, wrestling with every weary and worn out version of herself. But what we’re honored to see is her deep longing: to know and be known by God, to know and be known authentically in her relationships, relationships, to live with faithfulness and integrity. This book is a profound gift that will invite you into this holy wrestling as well.”

The Best of You

Counseling, Grief & Mental Health

“Alison’s breathtakingly wise work builds upon the theology and psychology of the true self from sages like Thomas Merton and Henri Nouwen but takes a giant leap forward in its approachability and practicality. An immensely helpful and profoundly deep guide to living from your true self!”

The Book of Waking Up

Counseling, Grief & Mental Health

“Years ago, Gerald May’s theologically rich and psychologically trustworthy Addiction and Grace became my go-to resource. Today it’s The Book of Waking Up. I’m so grateful to Seth for his wisdom and vulnerability in it.”

The Connected Life

Christian Living

“I love that the thoughtful engagement with neuroscience, attachment psychology, theology, and more from Todd's previous book is now offered in this engaging and accessible work. The Connected Life offers a kind of antidote to our disconnected lives and to the hidden suffering we endure as a result. It envisions a way back to each other and to God.”

The Expectation Gap

Christian Living

“Steve Cuss has a remarkable ability to meet us right where we’re stuck and point the way to freedom. The Expectation Gap will be immensely helpful for anyone longing to experience God more fully and seeking to become aware of major obstacles along the path.”

The Hope in Our Scars

“Aimee’s newest book strains toward hope and beauty even as she honestly acknowledges the pain and perils of navigating today’s fraught ecclesial landscape. Once again, she offers compelling new thoughts, but it’s her vulnerability that draws me in and inspires me to keep my heart open and hopeful, not least because of the one whose scars paved the resurrection path.”

The Possibility of Prayer

Prayer & Spiritual Formation

“The Possibility of Prayer is beautiful and deeply countercultural. John isn't asking us to layer another obligation on top of our lives but inviting us to a fundamental reorientation rooted in God's presence. Because John pastors a busy people in a busy city, he knows the cultural obstacles and the existential hurdles. But this is a profoundly hopeful and eminently practical book. What a gift this is to all of us!”

The Sex Talk You Never Got

Men

“Seldom am I stunned and moved to awe (and tears!) merely by reading a book. But Sam's words took my breath away--not just once, but over and over again. I'm eager to commend it broadly, but I'm also savoring its healing work in my story, in my soul, in my body. This is an exquisitely written and desperately needed book.”

The Way of Belonging

Christian Living

“Maybe you, like me, are homesick for Eden. And maybe your longing to belong is an invitation to a better story, one in which your heartache is honored, your questions are held, and your deepest desires are given space to be spoken. Sarah Westfall's exquisite book reawakened my own heart, opening me to currents streaming within that I'd been ignoring of late. It will thaw your heart too, awakening a hunger and a thirst for the Edenic inheritance of belonging tucked deep within your heart.”

The Way of the Desert Elders

Prayer & Spiritual Formation

“The Way of the Desert Elders is a luminous guide to ancient wisdom for modern souls. With warmth and clarity, Lisa Colón DeLay revives the voices of the desert mothers and fathers, inviting us into a spirituality that is earthy, honest, and deeply healing. A beautiful companion for those seeking transformation in a noisy world.”

Traumatized Church

Church Leadership & Ministry

“Traumatized Church gives us permission to see Paul as the weary and wounded human being he was: a gifted leader with a battered nervous system attempting to cope in his ministry context. It reminds us that holiness has never required superhuman strength—only honesty, humility, and hope.”

Dr.

Understanding Trauma and Resilience

World Religions

“Clear, compassionate, and deeply grounded, Understanding Trauma and Resilience helps readers understand how wounds shape lives and how healing unfolds over time. Evan Marbury brings clinical insight and spiritual wisdom together, gently acknowledging the personal and communal contexts that influence trauma while keeping the focus on hope, care, and restoration. I'm eager to commend this book to my students, clients, and beyond.”
