“Shirley Wright’s poetry stems from a life of pastoral ministry. Her words are grounded in the places and experiences of being ‘on the way’ with people and now looking back to see ‘the long way that the Lord has brought you.’ With prayer, discernment, and flashes of humor, she offers honest reflection on the places where we stumble and the ways we keep going.”
