Theology
“Roberts and Wilson show how the exodus is more than a past event; it is a paradigm that shapes the storyline of the Bible and the life of the believer. The blend of rich biblical theology and beautiful writing will stir the affections of all who long for the Promised Land of the new heaven and new earth.”
Theology
“The length, breadth, and depth of Luke’s Gospel can be daunting. Blending careful exegesis, theological synthesis, and canonical sensitivity, Benjamin Gladd provides an accessible and faithful exploration of some of its most significant themes, paying particular attention to their Old Testament roots. This book is ideal for enhancing one’s personal study, preparing to preach or teach, or even as a supplemental textbook in a class on Luke. Highly recommended!”
The Greek New Testament Study Bible
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“Too many pastors and teachers spend countless hours studying Greek in school only to forget most of it within a few years. While there are many tools and resources to help prevent this, there is nothing quite like the Greek New Testament Study Bible. The study notes are a treasure trove of helpful information on grammar, syntax, textual variants, and word usage that highlight key features of the Greek text. If you want to keep your Greek fresh and use it profitably, this is the tool for you.”
Theology
“Misconceptions about the nature, purpose, mission, and value of the church abound. Combining a scholar’s mind and a pastor’s heart, Klink reminds us afresh of what the church is and why the local church matters. This book is profoundly biblical, refreshingly accessible, and deeply practical. It is a much-needed, warm-hearted clarion call to understand and embrace God’s purpose for the church in a world that desperately needs the church to be the church.”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“In a culture of increasing biblical illiteracy, The Story Retold serves the valuable purpose of taking the New Testament use of the Old Testament as the starting point for understanding the message of each New Testament book. In addition to covering the basic territory of authorship, date, recipients, and more, Beale and Gladd use their expertise in the field to show students how deeply rooted the New Testament is in the Old Testament. The numerous pictures and images help bring the text to life. If you want students to understand each New Testament book in light of its place in redemptive history, this is the textbook for you.”
United to Christ, Walking in the Spirit
Theology
“Few books of the Bible lay out the height, depth, and breadth of the gospel like Ephesians. Benjamin Merkle puts the riches of this beloved Pauline epistle on full display, offering fresh insights into God’s plan, union with Christ, life in the Spirit, the unity of the church, and spiritual warfare. Whether you are a pastor, teacher, small-group leader, or simply someone who wants to better understand Ephesians, this accessible book will deepen your love for Christ and show you how to live out the gospel more faithfully.”
