Theology
“The modern discussion of salvation can seem a bewildering collection of competing images, models, and perspectives. Khaled Anatolios not only brings the biblical and traditional material into focus but also points toward a more faithful way of understanding and experiencing what salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ can mean for the church and the Christian.”
History & Biography
“Many know George Lindbeck only through The Nature of Doctrine, his groundbreaking study of the logic of doctrine and theology. Lindbeck was a wide-ranging theologian, however, whose many essays both give context to his ecumenical work and provide a new perspective on important topics. Shaun Brown’s comprehensive presentation provides an excellent and accessible introduction to Lindbeck’s work, orienting readers to Lindbeck’s most significant insights.”
Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“Douglas Johnson brings his years of experience teaching to the consideration of the perennial problem of faith and culture. Surveying the sweep of Christian history, he finds faith, hope, and love, founded in the grace of God, as the foundation on which we can build a perspective for our times. Thoughtful and accessible, this book opens basic questions in a direct and balanced approach to the cultural confusions that surround us.”

Theology
“Albert Walsh has written a passionate appeal to fellow members of the United Church of Christ that should be of interest to all persons committed to the unity of the church. He provides a clear and well-written call to a renewed concern for unity and the common faith of the church. Engagement with his own tradition is combined with a vision for the wider fellowship.”
Theology
“Tavast provides the kind of detailed analysis that ecumenical theology needs today: careful, scholarly, and sympathetic. That the Trinity provides the foundation for the unity of the church is too often an unexamined cliche.”
