Abraham Kuyper, Conservatism, and Church and State
Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“This primer on political conservatism is a reappraisal of the prominent Neo-Kuyperian interpretation of Abraham Kuyper. . . . While potentially troubling to leftward leaning Neo-Kuyperians, Larson argues for a firm intellectual bond between the towering Dutch statesman-theologian and notable political conservatives such as Edmund Burke, James Madison, Ronald Reagan, and even Chief Justice Roy Moore. [This book] is a worthy read as Kuyper speaks into the din of the controversial sphere of public theology.”
Christian Living
“Aging with Grace is a remarkably authentic, heartwarming, and scriptural balm for the soul in the context of growing older. Sharon Betters and Susan Hunt consider the wisdom of godly biblical women in light of their own and other’s personal experiences, thereby guiding readers on how to age with grace in an anti-aging culture. Gospel hope radiates from each page, so read and be blessed.”
Christ-Oriented Expository Preaching:
Preaching & Worship
“Kyoohan Lee‘s scholarly study of the relationship between interpretation and preaching glories in the self-attesting Christ of Scripture. The theme of the centrality of Christ in the Bible is carefully developed in terms of sola Scriptura, the New Testament‘s use of the Old Testament, and the question of the sensus plenior. Building on these hermeneutical insights, homiletical considerations are summarized and applied to the development and delivery of Christ-centered sermons. Lee’s monograph offers a substantial source of pastoral and theological scholarship that will challenge preachers to deepen their skills in the art of preaching Christ from every text in the word of God.”
Did America Have a Christian Founding?
Ethics, Culture & Social Issues
“Mark David Hall has provided a decisive, readable, and scholarly answer to the perennially debated question, Did America have a Christian founding? Herein, a distinguished American historian demonstrates far beyond a reasonable doubt that America’s Founders were deeply influenced by the Christian faith. If you have time to read only one book on the subject, this is categorically the one you should choose.”
Theology
“In distinction from many Edwardsian studies, Dr. Kim demonstrates that this leader of the First Great Awakening, while fully cognizant of Enlightenment thinking, taught that beauty is understood through biblical exegesis, shaped by scriptural hermeneutics. Divine Beauty Revealed brings together much of value: a survey of the origin of aesthetics, a review of leading theologians on aesthetics, a critique of the deistic interpretation of Edwards, and a succinct investigation of Edwards’s loci of theology and how his view of beauty informs each one. Dr. Kim’s masterful publication is an excellent addition to the libraries of pastors and scholars alike.”
Foundations of the Christian Faith
Theology
“Republication of Foundations of the Christian Faith by James Montgomery Boice, the superlative minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church, will surely be welcomed by scholars and serious students of the Bible. This classic overview of Christian faith is a masterful balance of often opposing qualities. It is simultaneously comprehensive yet readable. It is accessible for serious believers, seeking college students, and newcomers to the faith. It is warmly pastoral yet theologically rich. It is theologically Calvinistic and trinitarian but above all focused on Scripture. Herein, ancient truth illuminates contemporary life. This monumental harvest of Dr. Boice's ministry belongs in every serious Christian's study.”
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“If in a Qumran-like cave the discovery were to be made of the risen Lord’s lecture notes for his forty-day session imparted to his apostles concerning the kingdom of God, they would greatly mirror the truths, themes, and organic union of the Old Testament and the New Testament gospel so perceptively articulated by Richard Gaffin found herein. In the Fullness of Time is indeed ‘an Introduction to the biblical theology of Acts and Paul,’ but it is far more. It is the magisterial crescendo of a lifetime of scholarly study, unpacking the realized eschatology of the historical-redemptive revelation of Jesus Christ and his epoch-making grant of the Holy Spirit to his church. This masterpiece of biblical theology will open the word, shape your mind, and bless your heart. No serious student of Holy Scripture should miss the joy of being led by Gaffin and his compelling exegesis into a deeper and fuller understanding of the believer’s union with the risen Christ.”

“Don't miss this chance to journey homeward with Park as he guides us through C. S. Lewis's world of thought. This theologically astute and keen analysis of Lewis's writings is a delight to read and a joy to the heart of faith.”

“At this half-millennium anniversary of the birth of the Protestant faith, there is scarcely a better place to (re)discover Martin Luther than in this fresh biography by internationally recognized Reformation scholar Herman Selderhuis. Here is where to start your investigation of an amazing man whose remarkable courage, controversial ministry, and persuasive writings changed the world—for good and for ill. Don’t miss reading this fascinating, fun, and poignant foray into the spiritual life and tumultuous times of the one who, as Calvin described, ‘gave the Gospel back to us.’”

Counseling, Grief & Mental Health
Foreword
(wrote the foreword)
Biblical Studies & Commentaries
“Waltke and De Silva’s shorter commentary on Proverbs is simply a masterpiece. They skillfully impart rich theology for godly living based on Scriptural wisdom. Written with the integration of lucid instruction and keen scholarship, the reader encounters penetrating and delightful commentary characterized by both depth and simplicity. Pastors, Sunday school teachers, biblical students, and Christian parents should have this book in their arsenal to pursue and to communicate authentic biblical wisdom.”
Church Leadership & Ministry
“The Pastor as Leader is clear, deeply scriptural, and cogently written. While it reflects the best of the Reformed tradition and its pastoral riches, it is remarkably relevant for all pastors, regardless of denominational tradition or theological connection. This is because John Currie’s commitment to and exposition of the Scriptures engage the heart and mind of one called to serve Christ in ministry. This book will inspire both pastoral students and pastors who have served in ministry for many years. I highly recommend it.”
The Reformation and the Irrepressible Word of God
History & Biography
“Martin Luther and the Reformation were inextricably connected. But perhaps surprisingly, it is often forgotten how intimately bound Luther saw the Reformation to Scripture. His mission insisted on it being recovered by the church so it could be assiduously studied and carefully read by clergy and laity alike. In these excellent essays, leading scholars explore the heart of the Reformation revealing Luther's passion for the reformation of the church according to the Word of God. The contributions consider Luther's insights on biblical interpretation, preaching, pastoral care, justification by faith, and the Christian life. These biblical themes, once so precious to the Reformer, are again recommended to all as Luther's vision, to have a church true to the Scriptures, remains essential for the proclamation of the gospel of Christ. Don't miss the opportunity to add an outstanding study to your books on the Reformation. Luther's trust in the Word of God will encourage you in your ministry for Christ and his people.”

This is necessary reading for those who wrestle with the great questions surrounding the origins of life.”
