Stephen Pinkney

Biography

Stephen Pinkney has served as a postdoctoral scholar at the Bullard Center for Environmental and Climate Justice. Pinkney earned a doctor of philosophy degree in urban planning and environmental studies at Texas Southern University, a master’s in education administration leadership at Lamar University, and a bachelor’s in business/finance at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Pinkney wrote Systemic Black American Poverty in Northwest Louisiana (2026).
